How does someone learn how to be a successful Angel Investor?

Participate in the RVC Angel Accelerator and learn how to be a smart Angel. New Angels who don’t take this workshop often spend years and $250,000 or more learning how to do Angel investing! Receive a great return on investment, avoid taxation, learn about leading-edge innovation and meet interesting people!

This Angel Accelerator advances Angel Investors' learning with a combination of hands-on exercises, working with experienced angel investor mentors, and solid content and toolkits that you'll need for successful Angel Investing.

Topics Covered in this Workshop include:

      • Week #3 (Friday, May 8th, 2026) Exit strategy canvas. Learn the six things that smart investors know how to look for in a great exit strategy. Remember - the exit is the only way Angels get their money back!

The workshop starts out by “beginning with the end in mind.” The exit strategy workshop is where investors & founders will learn about building value not just for their first customer who buys their product, but for the “second customer” that is likely to acquire the company and return capital to investors.

      RVC May 2026 Investor Forum

      Hosted at Thrive Ballpark

RVC Investor Forums bring together accredited angel investors interested in fast-growing, early-stage companies in Colorado. These forums serve to pool the wisdom, expertise, and capital of many individual angels. At this forum, investor members will hear pitches, and afterwards the founders are excused and investors discuss the merits and risks of each venture. There is no requirement to invest and each investor has an opportunity to indicate interest in following or leading a specific deal. Both new and experienced investor members are welcome at forums -- this is the best way to learn hands-on about angel investing!
